Description
Made of absorbent cotton gauze as per European
Pharmacopoeia, Folded into rectangular or squares of
8 to 32 ply in such a manner that no cut edges are
exposed. With no side greater than 22.5 cm. The edges
of the swab are not stitched.
Commonly used to absorb blood and other fluids, to
clean wounds as well as wound dressing.
